It was all right. Biscuit and gravy was served. Cold. Wasn't too thrilled about that. It had pretty good flavor but not worth visiting really. I'm told the biscuits are better by itself or with butter or jelly.
Went with a friend who has been going here since she was a child. It was as good as promised. A rare treat now, this is a restaurant where you are paying just for the food and service. There is not much theming or "atmosphere", just food tasting food and excellent wait staff. I would recommend not drinking the water. It has an awful taste.
The food was good but the option (other than gravy) were limited. The portions were huge! I wanted French toast and it came with eggs and biscuits and a meat. I just wanted French toast. I can’t eat all the rest of it and it would have gone to waste. Limited ala carte options so I ended up with one biscuit and gravy. It was good. We arrived shortly after it opened. We ordered eggs, bacon, ham, a pancake, and biscuit with gravy. The food came out as ordered. We did like the food. The biscuit was a bit dry. The service was great. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. I forgot to ask for her name, but if you visit and meet her, you'll know who it is. I have wanted to try this place for a while. I finally did. I most likely will not go back. Anyone can mix water with a gravy packet add any meat and any vegetable to it and call ot gravy. My waffle was almost as thin as a piece of paper. Very busy. But there are better breakfast places than this one.
