I don’t understand how Gonzo Inn has such high ratings. Our experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived at 7:00 PM on a Friday night. (11/23/25) there was no one at the lobby to greet us, and our key was just left in an envelope outside, which felt unprofessional. Warm people, great location, but the rooms need love The Gonzo Inn has a lot going for it. The people who work here are genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to help. Every interaction felt warm and sincere, which made us feel at home right away. The location can’t be beat—an easy walk to restaurants and shops, yet tucked just far enough away to feel peaceful. Stopped here for breakfast. $40 for 2 breakfast sandwiches that didn’t satisfy and 2 coffees. This was at the Cafe & Lounge Italiano in the Gonzo Inn. It is attached to the hotel. There is no separate entrance and in the same building/property. I saw the response and my message to the owner is this is legit and was my experience.
