I chose GoMow based on reviews and the convenience of online scheduling and pay. I placed my request for mowing on a Saturday (during non-business hours). They sent emails and left a voice message Monday morning letting me know they’d be out that day! There was clear communication regarding extra cost for overgrown yards, both before and after the mow. GoMow service destroyed my sprinklers and refused to pay. And then shutdown my login acct, demanding money over the phone without a receipt of charges... and then reported me to a credit agency for $140, with no way to pay through the secure portal. This company is terrible
I'm giving them 3 stars because they are reliable, they always show up when they say they do and they refunded me for grass they said was overgrown that definitely was not overgrown. Anyways, the main cons are they don't care about your lawn. What I mean is, they will mow and weed eat your lawn into the dirt. I complained about this when I had them previously and had to get all new sod in my backyard because the grass never grew back after they decimated it. Don't trust this company. They used a weed eater instead of a lawn mower at my house. Damaged my car due to rocks. I was home when they serviced and heard rocks hitting my windows. When I called to complain about damage to my car. Donna in the front office denied the fact that used weed eaters. She told me that they used mowers. She told me they would close my account. Don't trust this company!
