RecommendedIt is rare to find a company these days that provides exceptional customer service, but the owner, George Gomez, went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. His staff is amazing as well. In addition, their pine straw is superior to anything I’ve tried to combat weeds. It looks great, absorbs soil moisture, and makes a great fertilizer.
I've been buying pine straw from this locally-owned company for over 5 years, and they provide exceptional service. Just about every person I've interacted with has been extremely nice and helpful. And their product is top quality. I often suffer from an explosion of weeds when I buy commercial pine straw; this very rarely happens with Gomez Pine Straw's product. Their delivery fee to Baton Rouge is very reasonable.
