Very CLean – "they're clean, reasonably priced, right next to a boarder / groomer and they're really easy to talk to about long term health care."
Over all a good clinic – I'm surprised to read the other negative reviews here. The one with the deceased cats made me very sad. But back to my experiences with Golf Rose. I've taken my cat here three times. Once for her initial check up after we found her (long story) where she stayed overnight to get spayed, and twice for eye infections (which she had before we got her, and she'll have forever). I took my two dogs there to get fixed and was really happy with this vet. My mom has taken my family dogs here fir years and they've always been really nice and caring about the animals. When I moved to downers grove area I tried to find a vet closer to me but was really disappointed with how rude some were on the phone, so I decided to take them there. My dogs were very well taken care of and they kept me informed. I will not be going to a different vet
We had to bring our pup in for an emergency, it was super early in the a.m. on a Sunday. They were so nice in getting us in right away. A little rattled by the situation they assured me my pup would be fine and all would be well. If we ever had another pet emergency I feel confident Golf Rose will take good care of us
Saved our Reggie's Life – It is with great thanks and gratitude that I write on behalf of Dr. Mark Kraklio. Dr. Kraklio saved our dog's life. He was the only vet that properly diaignosed "Blasto" in our beloved male Rottie. Under the care of Dr. Kraklio our Reggie survived a, if missed diaignosed, fatal fungal infection. I encourage all pet owners who's pet are outdoors and playing near damp area or places that are frequented by wild animals to research "Blasto" and make sure YOUR vet knows what the signs of infection are. Worst animal hosptial – I absolutely do not recommend this place. I can look over the fact that I sat nearly two hours just for lab results that normally take 10 minutes (I'm very patient, plus they said they were having problems with the machine). But, my dog needed four sticthes in her lip. It's been around five hours now and all but one have falllen out!!! What a joke! I could of done a better job myself. What a waist of $421 dollars.
The Docters here are the best! + 24 hr emegency vets are available. – We started coming here over 2yrs ago after our 14yr old cat had an allergic response to a vaccine. Emergency vet Barbara Fuglsang really took care of our cat. Recently we adopted a kitten we had found (nueter your pets people!) & we were disappointed that Dr. Fuglsang was unable to be our regular vet because she only worked emergency.
