Claims my child didn’t look “sick enough” in pediatric unit after being admitted. We walked in emergency room with my baby coughing so bad he couldn’t breathe for minutes. Gave back blows in the lobby and we were brought in quickly to an emergency room. Why would they admit us if we didn’t need to be there ? We were not getting proper care and my son’s pain management was ignored constantly. At the Pacific Diagnostics blood draw station I gave 2 doctors' names to receive the reports. Assuming this had been done, several months later, I was shocked to hear UCLA Health tell me that PD does not interface with them unless UCLA provided the lab orders! Cottage Health seemed also surprised by this. Five days later, and many hours on the portals, phone messages and now another website, I have finally been able to request my lab reports! I don’t think this hospital takes anything serious I called to check on my friend and the nurse said “she’s okay I think” and then started talking to other people and giggling it was the craziest thing.
I waited for an ultrasound for 1 hour!!! Shame!!!
