How many words do I have? $600+ to fix a door lock? I can understand that the lock was expensive ($200+) because auto parts are priced like that. But $180 to diagnose the problem? (I explained in writing the circumstances under which the lock had stopped working, and the tech who checked me in understood what I was saying.) Plus maybe $200 in labor to replace the lock? We were told when a tech first called after I had dropped off the car that the price would be around $400. You later called to say you wanted to keep the car ... read more
