First, I would like to say that I love and adore Doctor Mejia. As for the office staff and communicating with the office !that’s another story. It is disgusting that I have to leave work early , drive to the Dr office, just to take care of things that I could do on the phone if they would ever pick up the phone. It’s already been one month and they haven’t returned any of my messages that I left on their answering service on their regular phone.. on the portal and the website. Wonderful atmosphere. Dr Goldson is a Godsend. I highly recommend.
Horrible experience with Dr Goldson as she was rude during my first visit. Also horrible experience with Dr Edward’s as I was prescribed iron pills for an extended period of time which elevated my Ferrin levels to an unhealthy level. At first she denied the correlation between the two and after multiple times of clarifying she finally admitted that there could be a correlation. Over a year after my initial visit, this office suddenly sent me a bill. I will not be paying it. During my appointment, they diagnosed me as diabetic and pushed Ozempic, then completely dropped communication when my insurance denied the prescription. I was left with no guidance, no follow‑through, and no resolution. I have since seen a different doctor, had fresh bloodwork done, and was told I am nowhere near diabetic.
