Good gym 😤
AC has been broken for over a year. Maintenance has taken a major down swing recently. Bathrooms consistently smell now. And now that wintergreen is shut down, it’s busier to boot. So now you get to stand around waiting in a 90 degree smelly room. I last year I went to wintergreen all summer due to the ac being out, but now that’s gone. My job has me outside all day every day so the last thing I want when I pay to work out is for it to be as hot as outside. The only reason I am even giving a 2 star review is the classes and instructors which are great. Otherwise, it would be 0 stars for NO AC for the 3rd summer in a row, and old broken equipment that takes forever to get fixed before breaking again. It's literally a dump. They can't even buy enough floor fans to help deal with the sweltering heat.
Came here early in the morning 01/26/2023 and the gym wasn't open even though the hours posted online and outfront said it would be. A group of us waited outside in the cold. This isn't the first time this happened according to other reviews. Shame on Golds. Also the A/C has stopped working for 2+ years now. Somebody should sue them at this point. I know some lady fainted before.
The 2-star rating is not towards the staff members there, nor the experience. The staff members are great and have been doing their job well for years in Town Center. It's more for corporate to actually do something with the A/C system there at the facility. We've waited close to three years for the A/C system to be fixed, only to have it go out again within two months.
