I visit this golds when I'm in Houston on work trips. The staff is great and the facility is very nice. Machines and benches are generally in good condition. The lower body/plyo room is huge and very well equipped with many squat racks/platforms and even more niche machines like pendulum squats. The cardio equipment has the latest tablets so you can even watch streaming apps if desired. I would definitely choose this golds if I lived in the area.
Amazing environment, great lighting
The equipment is very nice. But you have to put up with predatory payment plans and staff who don’t tell you everything about the contracts. I still haven’t gotten hold of a manager despite emailing and calling multiple times. Read carefully if you sign here, but go to another golds if possible.
Equipment padding is cracked and broken on a lot of the machines. Actually hurts to use their equipment AND it's been this way for months!
Got this membership everything was fine tell it was time to pay sometimes my payment would go through just fine other times the would charge me double fees whenever it was supposed to be automatic pay then I went to cancel my membership because they kept overcharging me and they didn’t cancel my membership and are still charging me because the guy at the front has no idea what he’s doing . Very upsetting
