Poor customer service. Today July 4, 2021, I wanted to buy an smootie at the juice bar, and the guys told me it was closed because it was 15 minutes to closing time, and I think it is understable, but when I picked up a gatorade, they refused to sell it to me, saying that the register was also closed! Either they are lazy that they stopped working before closing or the coorparation told them to stop service before closing time? Sad
Working out is extremely important to me. So is not spending a whole of money to do so. As is not showering in rather stinky, mildew-y showers. Gold's Gym therefore combines almost everything I am looking for in a gym into one place. They have extensive options for both cardio and strength training equipment, great hours, and are eminently reasonably priced ($10 a month is well worth it to stay healthy). Equipment is up to date with plenty of options to train your whole body
I'm am current member of golds gym but have issues with the management that runs the establishment. First off it is hard to get in touch with the owner of Golds. When I mean hard, I don't mean I can't find his email, I mean that it takes him forever to response or he doesn't even respond back. Second, all the gyms amenities that are offered or being implimented only benefit the owner of the facility. Bad customer service. Join any other gym but this one, they will take money out of your account even after you cancel your membership and refuse to refund it. Some of the worst customer service I have seen.
My wife and I had a gym membership for about a year and a half and had a good experience. We cancelled the membership, signed the paperwork and are now receiving daily calls from bill collectors. We had auto bill pay until we cancelled. The separation process has been a nightmare. Get your membership at LA fitness, Sport and Health, Planet Fitness or somewhere else. AVOID GOLDS TO AVOID PROBLEMS ON THE BACK END.
Eldersburg Golds Gym beware. We joined this Gym in Eldersburg Maryland one week before it opened. My wife and I told Sean that we really didn't know if we wanted to sign up for a one year contract, but rather we wanted to do the month to month. Sean told us that if we signed up for the one year contract he as the owner would give us the month to month deal and we could cancel at anytime. Worse experience with a gym. It is always crowded. First 3 months after i bought the membership, the man's bathroom was close then the indoor pool was closed for a good 6 months. Then the suana and the steam room was broken. Finally after a year with Gold's gym, We decide to cancel and by call 866-465-3775. I was on hold for an hours listening to stupid music without getting any help. DO NOT get gold's gym, they are a scam business.
Great gym! I drop my son off in the Kids area while I workout and tan. Everyone is friendly and trainers are great! I recommend getting the Gold membership
