Poor customer service. Today July 4, 2021, I wanted to buy an smootie at the juice bar, and the guys told me it was closed because it was 15 minutes to closing time, and I think it is understable, but when I picked up a gatorade, they refused to sell it to me, saying that the register was also closed! Either they are lazy that they stopped working before closing or the coorparation told them to stop service before closing time? Sad

Do not join. The head person is unfriendly, no manners, The person told me that she was canceling my membership. She told me I was not allowed in there premises. But they never fired the girl. Great gym. I usually prefer to put my money in the local gyms, however the price is acceptable, facilities are clean, plenty of good classes and machines; everything you need in a gym. People here are very nice and knowledgeable for the most part. Recommended.
Only one lap lane. But it is not indicated for lap swimmers. Non swimmers hang out in it and no one oversees this inconvenience. If you want the exercise of lap swimming you will not find it available here. 2 large signs ask that street shoes and street clothes not be worn in steam or sauna. Rules are not obeyed and staff does nothing. This gym is seeing some cleanup . But for 6 years it has been the filthiest gym in SAT. In Hill country village!
I am getting so fed up with this gym! I give this gym almost $250 a month and for what I have been asking myself lately. I pay for personal training, small group, and my membership is paid in full already. Half of the small groups that they have on their schedule (which I PAY for) dont run...why, because the trainer that is supposed to teach the class schedules a personal training appointment over it, so he is getting paid for teaching a class which doesn't happen and for his PT appointment. Working out is extremely important to me. So is not spending a whole of money to do so. As is not showering in rather stinky, mildew-y showers. Gold's Gym therefore combines almost everything I am looking for in a gym into one place. They have extensive options for both cardio and strength training equipment, great hours, and are eminently reasonably priced ($10 a month is well worth it to stay healthy). Dirty and Broken! Does that sound good to you? Well, welcome to Gold's Gym at 4404 W. William Cannon in Austin, TX. Start by parking in the dark parking lot, then open the door and walk in to the aroma of your new gym. Features? Oh yeah, they got em'. Like the gym for the most part but customer service is lacking. I went tonight with my two children and I don't know if it was the woman at the front desk not understanding what I was saying or what but she wouldn't let my son in which seemed odd. She also kept saying he needed to be 18 but I was told when I signed up that as long as I was the adult on the account my children age 13 and over could workout with me.
