I absolutely love Goldplaited in Lakeview! I come here before every special event—holiday parties, galas, you name it—and they never disappoint. I’m honestly the worst at explaining how I want my makeup, but somehow they always get it exactly right. My makeup lasts all night (even after lots of dancing!) and my hair always looks amazing. The team is so talented, professional, and makes the whole experience fun and stress-free. I can’t imagine getting ready for an event anywhere else!

I recently went to goldplaited for the first time to get my hair done for a friend's wedding. I loved my look and everyone was so nice! I was then really excited to see that they offer educational "how to" sessions for giving yourself a blowout or using hot tools! For YEARS I've wanted to learn how to style my hair myself and had always failed at my attempts to learn from YouTube etc. I came in for the one hour hot tools educational session and it was amazing!! Very disappointed of goldplaited even though I’ve been a client of theirs for over 5 years. I’ve recently had two terrible experiences, the worst being their refusal to not charge me for services as I was in labor. I had a blowout appointment that I missed because I was IN LABOR! This was obviously not planned and I went into labor early. They still went ahead and charged me $80 for the service.
