I had such a great experience with Carmen a couple weeks ago! I came in for a post op blow out and will 100% be back. She was able to handle my curly, wavy hair, which has been SO difficult to find (I swear I've been to every blow out bar in the city over the years)! I can tell the owners actually care about their staff, the salon, and their clients because it seems like they are all thoroughly trained, unlike MANY other places throughout the city. I booked hair and makeup services for myself, my mother, and mother in law prior to my city hall wedding this weekend. These ladies blew us away with their attentiveness and how special they made us all feel. We left that morning raving about how absolutely amazing the experience was start to finish. Booking was easy and the communication was everything you could ask for. The day of they took time with each of us to make sure we felt our best. I would absolutely use them again and will recommend them to all of my friends.

Five stars for Goldplaited! I've been getting blowouts at Goldplaited for the past seven years, and it's truly the only place I trust with my hair! I have extremely curly, textured hair, and they always know exactly how to manage it. No matter who styles my hair, the results are always amazing. The owners, Mal and Coco, are incredible—they genuinely know their customers and create such a welcoming, accommodating atmosphere. This place has really incredible hairdressers but their policies are just not client friendly. For starters, they won’t let me book with a specific hair dresser. I have continually asked for someone I love to do my hair and come in when she’s with other clients. Secondly, if you want to make a same day change for an appointment 2 hours later they charge you $25. High quality salon, but so hard to work with. I used to go atleast 2x a month but I will not be returning because this doesn’t work for me.
