The reviews are true. Goldmark increases rent with very poor property management in management of the properties. First storm, icy everywhere, they failed to put enough salt down and it is very slippery. Just waiting for a fall to sue. Took the front steps out way to late in the year. No common sense. Weed smell. Dirty. I understand rent increase but you better handle the property. You need to send notice on any and all repairs and when the water is turned off. I’ve been with Goldmark for almost 8 years now. We were with Sierra ridge for 5 of the years. Loved the management before they left. Only complaint was neighbors and who took over as management (she’s atleast gone now) But we’ve been at pebble creek for a couple years now. Love my neighbors. Great, quiet, friendly people. But man, the management and maintenance is non existent. Since we have moved in, we haven’t had buzzer access. I left this review for Sunset Ridge, but I feel it is relevant to share here as well: It is a shame that Goldmark is as prevelant as they are in the Bismarck area. I was incredibly impressed with the Fargo Goldmark, but the Goldmark properties here are a huge disappointment. They did not show any care for their tenants. Nearly everything was neglected (i.e. minimal/no snow removal, broken door locks, nonfunctional call buttons, unresponsive staff, etc.). Horrible experience. I found it oddly ironic that unlike other rental companies they pulled old credit history and the company the use has a 1star review and is known for rejecting candidates. Also, the information that they obtained was not only irrelevant but false. Truly disappointed, truly disappointed. We really thought they had nice places and the neighbors were really friendly. Truly disappointed.
I am currently LOOKING TO RENT ASAP! If this gets seen please reach out asap!!! An odd way of reaching out but I've been searching for few months now. Thanks to anyone who sees this!
