This company is horrible they have gone through 3 different managements now at the apartment complex my mom stays. They are trying to cheat her saying she hasn’t paid her rent when she has and all the proof is kept on receipts. Now they wanna take her to court. Her apartment flooded and they they told her they would put her in a different one in the meantime but they never did. She had to put herself in a hotel. I've got a 7 day notice to "pay rent or quit". I am disabled veteran trying to make ends meet, I have good credit history and I pay all my bills on time. my lease started in the middle of the month and they wanted a whole months of rent during the eviction which violates the contract since i did not stay the whole month. If I could give negative stars at this point I would. We have lived at Deerfield for 5 years. In those 5 years we have had 3 people work in the office. They have either quit or been promoted. Since the pandemic in 2020 maintenance has become a joke! This complex has not had a regular maintenance person in 4 years. We will get someone and things will start to get better and then they either get promoted with no one to take their place or they quit. There is no office staff present at beacon hills 95% of the time. Maintenance takes a long time to respond. My sink has been like this for 4 days with no response from vs, mainly requests, etc the last time I had a maint problem that was similar it took multiple months for them to fix.
