I paid thousands of dollars to Goldman & Associates for family law representation. My attorney was Bernadine Trout. Despite clearly disclosing information that directly affected jurisdiction, my case was filed in a state that lacked jurisdiction and was dismissed. Said they would represent our daughter’s divorce case. Strung out the process with promises of closure in the near future. Overcharged and contested our dispute to get our money back. Recently charged our credit card again without my permission. Avoid them.
I am very impressed with Jason’s willingness to help me make a potential negative experience into a positive one! I didn’t receive the outcome I had hoped with my court hearing but Jason provided me with a peace of mind and went out of his way to ensure my future experience with the company is positive. Failed to do their fiduciary duty, lost evidence, charged way too much for the service they didn't provide, completely destroyed a custody case and put a child's life in danger because they failed to do their job. The firm contacted me after seeing this review and tried to get me to delete it if they got my evidence back and when I declined to remove it they stopped contact. I haven't heard from them since. More worried about their reputation than doing their job and protecting a child.
