This is one of my favorite small businesses in the country. I’m so fortunate to live nearby. The customer service is outstanding. Their designs are classy, but also cool and immediately striking. They carry all the good stuff, and also stuff you won’t see anywhere else. I buy gifts for family and friends here. I buy statement pieces for special events here. I come here to treat myself. I absolutely love this store, the owner, the jewelers, and the people who work there. Literal gem!!!
Poor job after seeing some of the pieces in the store I decided to leave this store in charge of my antique ruby ring inherited from my mother. The owner after assuring me that repairing the ring would be no trouble. When I had not heard from them in over a week I called to check on the ring only to be told that my ruby was not a ruby and it was damaged in heating it up for repair. Great jewelry design We had our wedding rings designed by the great crafters down here. They did the best job I can ever imagine.They were so willing to help us and very kind. The price was a little expensive, but I guess that can be expected for making our own wedding rings. They have a perfect shop in downtown lawrence. I love that they are locally owned and do everything right there in the store.

Goldmakers has always had a special place in my heart. Growing up, we always HAD to stop in every time we would visit Lawrence!
