The doctor is Very unprofessional and Rude!
I was almost too fair in giving her so many opportunities to disappoint me as a therapist! She just seems to want to take your money. When and where did she go to school. All she did was write. Never truly listened or responded empathetically or appropriately. She provides zero input or insight. Her accent is strong and many times I had to ask her to explain or repeat herself because she was so difficult to understand. Not a comforting atmosphere.
I have to disagree with the previous posters. Dr. Goldenholz was attentive and made positive suggestions. She did not watch the clock, nor did she merely nod her head. She listened carefully to my concerns and I found her comments very helpful.
I've seen great benefits in my life through various therapists, but Nava Goldenholz was the least helpful. She provided little to no insight even though her specialty was in the area I needed assistance. Also, I would catch her clock watching throughout the appointment. She would constantly nod her head and take notes but offer very little feedback or solutions. Pleasant in demeanor and certainly means well, but waste of time and money in my opinion.
Talking to a cashier at some store will give you more insight than Dr. Goldenholtz can. She has absolutely no intuition or knowlrdge of the human condition. She probably has lived a very insulated life and cannot see beyond what she has experienced.
If you seeking for help form a professional. This is not her. You will become more depressed after your visit with her. Sometimes I wonder if she's a "patient" in a white jacket!!! run for your own sake.
