Golden Valley has been a family favorite for decades, and I’m thrilled to say it’s just as amazing as ever under the new owner, Amanda. We went here today and were promptly greeted and seated. We noted that they have a 7 day a week lunch special available at a very competitive price. We ordered the orange chicken and the triple delight lunch specials which included soup and a large spring roll. Very tasty, but not over seasoned. The exterior of the restaurant is clean but somewhat plain appearing, the interior appears clean and well maintained. Lots of free parking.
I had an amazing experience here with my family! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with elegant decor that set the perfect mood for a delightful meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and the serving was big. Worth every bite and penny!
So I walk in and notice something is eerily off. Waiting for Tom's smiling face, but no. He's always there on Wednesdays.....I was told he sold the restaurant, which broke my heart. I was under the weather so I got my go-to hot and sour soup. My partner got a vegetable dish. Hot and Sour soup was off. Watery and spiced with A LOT of black pepper.
