So I've had the pleasure of having DKI help me not once but twice, I know, great luck lol. First time was smoke damage due to my neighbors apartment catching fire and the second time due to water damage. Tammy was there the first time to help from the day it happened, and did an amazing job cleaning my belongings and listing my belongings that couldn't be cleaned so they can be replaced, was a great communicator, made sure to help in anyway she could and beyond, and the team working along side her were great as well. The DKI Canada CAT restoration team came yesterday to disinfect and set up the fans after our flood/sewer backup. Kevin, David and team were fantastic! Great to work with, super empathetic with our situation and highly experience. The team took great care to clean out the space, while being careful to save what could be saved. We really appreciate it! Thank you!
DKI delivered our project with professionalism and care throughout the entire process. We lived with our elderly parents for six years in their basement. On December 22, 2025 we lost our father. Four days later, we lost our basement apartment. On this day, the power went during a bad storm and wasn’t restored for over 24 hours. This meant that we had no working sump pump, also for over 24 hours. Because of this with the addition of a very large amount of ground water due to the rain and snow melt we accumulated over 3 inches of flooding in a very large basement. Everything went well until we had our property returned. We had a lot of items damaged and it was almost impossible to get this issue rectified. We moved back into our apartment after a flood in March. We are now in June and we are still waiting for our items to be fixed or replaced. Kelvin and Josue were wonderful, very personable and made us laugh even though it was a very stressful situation. The way our complaint has been handled though is very disappointing. I would not recommend this company.
