Weâ??ve been using the Golden Thimble for more than ten years for everything from my dresses, slacks and jeans to slacks and jeans for my husband. There seems to be nothing they canâ??t do, even altering a leather jacket for me. Whenever anyone asks about a tailor this is who I recommend. She is honest about the time required to do work-no promises that wonâ??t be kept. Tip-top work and service.

I wouldn't take my clothes anywhere else! Excellent service and quality at a very affordable price. I have been going there for years and cannot imagine trusting anyone else with my dresses, or any other item!

I needed a black tie dress altered on short notice and done well, and couldn't have been more impressed with how sharp it looked when it was done. Will be back soon!

The Golden Thimble consistently provides excellent service, high quality alterations, and reasonable prices. They have a convenient location and hours that fit my busy working lifestyle not to mention the quick turn on custom work! I love the Golden Thimble.

Best Tailor in Town! – There is only ONE tailor I would trust with my grandmother's wedding dress. Now it fits like a glove. I can't wait to walk down the aisle wearing this memory of my Mimi! Thanks Golden Thumble!

rating poor – I went to pick up some military uniforms that needed patches sewn on. The bill was $8 and some change. When trying to pay with a $20 bill, I was told that they couldn't change it. Ok..I need the uniforms for deployment tomorrow to Korea, and called to see if I could pick them up. No answer. This is Tuesday and their schedule is to be opened at 10:00. It is now 11:58 and after several phone calls, could not get an answer. Maybe the work is good but the service is very poor. I need those uniforms NOW.

Fabulous Tailor! – Finally a tailor who knows how to properly work with knits! I have used many tailors in the past who have repeatedly returned my garments with puckers, crooked hem lines, and uneven stitches due to sloppy workmanship. It is so refreshing to find a tailor who does neat work and actually knows how to work with stretch fabrics. I will only use this tailor for all my future alterations.
