DO NOT hire this company to manage your properties, and if you know about it avoid living in a community managed by this company. I cannot emphasize this enough.Bob Begley, the owner, is a bully and likely corrupt. They will squeeze you for every dollar, fight you for every change. Once they lock you in to a contract, expect your good service to stop there. Bob harasses everyone around him, mistreats employees, and expresses disdain for the people living in his communities.
I have had the opportunity to work with this company. Bob, our manager, is the most passionate community manager I know. He really cares about his communities and trys hard to protect the board - sometimes from themselves. The office staff is also very pleasant and accomadating. I recommend Golden Sands to all who need a community management company.
