We had a big mess with American Airlines in Chicago. The last leg of our 40 hour trip home was a flight to Knoxville that was repeatedly delayed and eventually canceled. After getting no clear resolution from the airline, I did what I should have done earlier contacted Golden Rule and in less than 30 minutes, problem solved. Airline paid for food and lodging overnight. Flight the next day arranged!

Hans went WAY above and beyond to ensure we had good flights to our final destination after United kept delaying our flights. He worked with me and two different airlines into the early morning hours to make sure we were taken care of. We will always use GoldenRule travel and in fact we recommend that all our teams traveling to Kenya use them. I am so thankful we weren’t left to navigate this airline disaster on our own.

Excellent experience. Agent Sharon was able to find us a discounted price, and then agent Hans worked quickly to get us a new international connecting flight when our first flight was delayed from a small regional airport. Golden Rule was friendly, efficient, personable, and totally saved our trip!

I suppose this would be a great place to book flights if you’re Amish or super conservative Mennonite, but in my experience I could have gotten better rates by booking directly with the airlines. From when I turned in my request for rates till the finally had an “agent” assigned to my trip, the rates on the airline app had already gone up a few hundred dollars per person.
