Golden Ring Rocks! – I tried to replace my water pump on my Geo (mechanic I am not) and messed my timing belt up. I called Golden Ring Auto and had my car towed in. They fixed my car at a really reasonable price and had a quick turn around time. I have been back quite a few times, since I no longer attempt do things myself and have been very pleased every time. They are definitely a repair shop that I recommend.
Reliable, Honest, and Quality Service – My elderly parents had a 2000 Ford Explorer with 200,000+ miles. The owner and staff were able to find the problems with the car and give them an honest assessment of the problems and the cost to fix them. My parents listened to the owner about the issues with the car and decided to fix only what was necessary to keep them safe while they looked for a new car. Greg at Golden Ring Saves my Vacation – I had a terrible scare, here I am ready to leave on Vacation. Car is all packed up and Family is ready to roll. Dependable and Quality Service – I've used Golden Ring Auto & Truck Repair for more than a decade and have always been a very satisfied customer. The owner and staff provided great service for my car and were quick to diagnose and correct my car's problems. The repairs were timely and done right the first time. I've used them for brake repairs and engine work on my Nissan and make the trip from Bel Air for the reasonable cost and trustworthy service.
Wonderful Staff, Honest! – My 2005 Ford Explorer has had a squeak for several years that has driven me crazy! Every place I have taken it they couldn't find it, I brought my car to Golden Ring Auto and Truck and they found the squeak immediately and fixed it. My car no longer has the squeak and I have my sanity back! They are definitely my new repair shop! I'll be back.
Honest and Reliable – I was on my way to New York when I had to pull off 95 thinking I had a problem with my clutch. After the owner-mechanic looked at my car it turned out to be only a rubber matt that caused the problem. I have been going there ever since and driving from Columbia Md to White Marsh. Not sure how they remain in business – I would not recommend Golden Ring to anyone looking for repairs or just routine maintenance on their car. They are overpriced, dishonest when it comes to actual problems with your car, and have poor customer service.
