I ordered door dash today and when the order came it was completely wrong. I called right away to see if I could pick up the correct order she told me it was my fault and I should call and pick up myself next time not use door dash. I then asked to speak to someone else she continued to yell at me and tell me there was no way to get my correct food. Very frustrating- aren’t good with door dash orders.

Friendly service, excellent food, good atmosphere.
The couple that run the place were not friendly and seem hassled to seat us when we arrived. The pot stickers were awful. So much dough and the meat had no flavor. We pulled most of the dough off each one. The hot and sour soup was ok, but had a strong vinegar taste. The Kung Pao chicken was more celery than chicken. My husbands Mongolian beef was more onions than meat. Overall a big disappointment and we will not be returning.
I raved for years to anybody that would listen that this was the best Chinese restaurant in the South end & was a loyal customer for years. Moved to a different part of Kent & wasn’t able to visit anymore (was never in the Covington area...) so it has been about 8 years since my last visit. Moved back to Covington area a yr ago & finally said “I miss & NEED Golden Phoenix!” this past weekend so ordered $65+ worth of food. They are very nice and a local family owned business.
Food is just ok. Potstickers were really bad, egg rolls are just ok... waiter is not great.... appreciated the cook coming out and asking how the food was.
First time I ever had take out from there that was cruddy. Because it was the first time I gave them two stars instead of one.
