I'm playing here today. Course is always in great shape, the best public course around and 4-star rated by Golf Digest, which also named it as one of the top "Places to Play."
Great layout, always in premium condition.
Course was in great shape as always and was challenging playing from the gold tees. The greens are roll great and the amenities it offers are fabulous. The best kept secret about Golden Oaks is those delicious fiesta dogs at the turn!!! If I had one complaint it would be the bunkers. I don’t want to use the word horrible but, they were really bad. The sand was non existent and very hard. Makes it tough to play traditional sand shots because the club bounces across the hard bottom. That is only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars... read more
The course is in excellent shape & the greens are very fast & very green.. Pin placement when I played were very challenging. There is cold water on the course & the rough is US Open like, very very thick.. One of the nicest courses I played this year & very reasonably priced. The Bar was very 😎 cool & the beer selection was very good & the food was delicious. WE WILL BE BACK⛳️⛳️🏌🏻🏌🏻🍺🍻
This course is a definite must play I thought the course was in excellent condition wide fairways and large greens great layout with multiple tees for every skill level
The course is in great shape, and it was fun the play here. The service in the pro shop was first rate and after our round the 19th hole was awesome. The bartender was top notch right there when you needed her. This is a must play course for all of Berks countians. I will definitely be back.
I try to play this course at least once a week!! It is a absolute hidden gem. I honestly believe that for the price, layout, pro shop, practice facility and food it is the best course in berks! I highly recommend you play this course, if you want to enjoy a well priced round of golf!
Course was in fantastic shape! The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the snack bar was closed (at 11:30 on Saturday morning) at the turn and had to go inside for drinks and food after 9 holes. Slowed the pace of play and was an inconvenience. Other than that, great day!!
