Golden Gate Plumbing a pleasant surprise! Golden Gate Plumbing a pleasant surprise! My apartment manager has been using the same plumbers for about 3 years and recently they hired the guys from Golden Gate Plumbing. What a refreshing change. These guys were extremely polite and did a really good job. Most plumbers seem to leave a bit of a mess when they work, not these guys the cleaned up and got the job done fast. I would even hire them myself if I had to. Recommended indeed!

BE WARNED! Golden Gate Plumbing Will Take Advantage of You I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOLDEN GATE PLUMBING. BE WARNED! Before committing to Golden Gate, I recommend looking around for comparable pricing and service. My wife and I had a HORRIBLE experience dealing with Golden Gate. Do not use these people. Stay away from these people. They are at the very least incompetent. I hired them to rooter out my drain which they made all kinds of phony reasons why I needed a much more expensive procedure. They came out twice and never finished the job. Another plumber did the job in about 5 minutes.

untrustworthy If there was a way to give these folks less than one star I would. I've called on these guys many times in the past and had always thought they were expensive but at least reliable. I finally clued in that they where a total rip-off when the last job they did can to $2,800 for less than 4 hours of work to replace 2 feet of pipe. After calling them on it, they lowered the price by a thousand dollars without even explaining why they charged so much in the first place. They are untrustworthy!! Do not use them!!
