The food and service were fantastic. Lisa is a gem. Came back to this restaurant for lunch after an amazing dinner. The souvlaki is juicy and flavorful. The tyrolafteri is balanced and spicy. The freddo cappuccino is on point. And the revitalization of the old storefront next door (Bakaliko, same ownership) warms the hearts in us who love seeing old places given new life.
We were welcomed and seated immediately. Scott, our server, was spectacular. He was knowledgeable about the food AND the history of Greektown. When he found out my sister had attended the art school just down the road, they were instantly talking the history of that part of the city! He knew the long gone stores she remembered. Her ability to listen and match the authentic cuisine with what You are Hungry for makes the experience worth the trip. Her skill at mixology brings The After Dark Cocktail to Life. Every dish was not only authentic but both large in portion and the value is exponential due to the ambience, classic decor, and music selection. Liv was amazing, the melted cheese was fantastic. The lamb and lamb gyro were amazing, what a treat and will Be back. The desert fantastic, it was busy at 3 pm!
