About this business
Permaculture reconnects us with ecological wisdom so that we can once again be part of the healing of the water, soil, air, beauty, human communities, and wildlife of our land. We use holistic design practices inspired by healthy ecosystems and indigenous land tending wisdom. We work with everything from small home forest gardens, to regenerating injured pasture land and restoring the water table. Beyond "sustainable," we work for regeneration - of land, plant, animal, fungal, and human communities.

I attended Matt’s Food Forest Class in June, and it was truly incredible! I drove two hours to get there and would absolutely do it again—it was that worth it. The day was filled with learning, connection, and inspiration. We toured local farms, brainstormed as a group to design a food forest, and even got to forage blackberries and snack on fresh mulberries straight from the tree. I can't thank Matt @ Silver Branch Permaculture enough! I was struggling with organizing my ideas and desires for creating a food forest into a cohesive plan. Matt came out for a site visit, listened, and created a very helpful summary of the visit and plan that integrated my vision with permaculture principles, and provided a manageable plan of action for me.
