I had an amazing experience here. The food was great and the waiter was extremely nice. I tried grits for the first time and she went out of her way to tell me the different ways to eat it. She gave me three empty bowls and told me to try the different ways to try it. All the employees were friendly and did I mention I love grits now lol.

The Golden Egg was delicious! I had the creamed chipped beef it was great! Waffles, eggs, potatoes were DELISH too. Will definitely go back. Would highly recommend! Food did take longer than expected, but worth the wait.
If you read reviews like I do.... BEST place on the beach. A MUST try and highly recommends it. Good food. Home of the fresh giant cinnamon bun.

Excellent breakfast today at the Golden Egg. I ordered the creamed chip beef on a biscuit and home fries from the extensive menu. The portion was huge and the food was delicious! We also ordered a cinnamon role to share. Prices were very reasonable. The service was friendly and efficient. Our server was great and Debbie the manager was wonderful. I

Absolutely love this place!!! My family and I stop in here to eat breakfast every year we are in Myrtle Beach. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is excellent. The prices are a little expensive but it is worth what you pay.
