The empathy, the care, the support, the overwhelming presence, the feeling of love were unparalleled during our daughters stay for a very difficult birth and aftercare…the doctors!! The Nurses!!! phlebotomists!! X-ray technicians!! Food staff!! ALL staff encountered made us all feel like family. I cannot remember everyone’s names…Chris, Gladys, Ali…ever present! The doctors (Celine and Clair) who saved her life! So many more….this hospital, a stark difference from our experience in Cranbrook!
Canceled my ultrasound appointment twice need to wait for more than a month a get new schedule, me and my husband missed work because I can’t drive (we’re about an hour from Golden) when I got there told me my appointment is moved again my husband need to go surgery and he will not drive for at least 6 weeks they called me as soon as I stepped out from the hospital she said she can’t leave voicemail when she phoned me and never bother to call back again, waist of time and day of work
The ER is an absolute joke.
My husband had a major heart attack dec 21 in golden BC. Dr Tam treated him and I would like to thank all the staff who were so professional including him. They included caring for me at the same time which isn't always easy. Thank you to a female paramedic who was particularly helpful in being supportive. The worst part of the experience was the delay in Banff for an hour switching ambulances to get him to foothills hospital. He began to have pain again and one wonders if there will be more heart damage. Thanks to all staff... read more
