Golden City Brewery is the Second Largest Brewery in Golden. Founded in 1993 by two geologists, Charlie & Janine Sturdavant. They filled the old machine shop behind their historic Golden home with used dairy tanks and Charlie began brewing German-style ales. The tasting room was originally located in the sunroom of their house. Since that time, the operation has expanded at the same location (still their home). The second largest brewery in Golden (the first is Coors)!
During the summer, the outdoor yard is wonderful to relax and enjoy a cold one. In my opinion, it lacks a cool inside space if you can't be outside. Lots of good beer too!
Nice brewery with a small inside and a spacious beer garden outside. The beers are tasty and the outside is a fun place to chill.
