My husband and I often have lunch here. The food is authentic Chinese and prepared piping fresh and hot to our table. Our server has our preferences ready immediately after we enter the restaurant.
This business is doing it right. Excellent food, excellent service. I have tried several Chinese food restaurants from Burlington to Durham, they just don't compare to Golden China. Very pleased. Thank you for your outstanding business. Five stars! * * * * *
Great Chinatown food, not a takeout joint Food is great, waitstaff and atmosphere is casual and friendly.
Not the food, but the service. I placed a take out order and arrived to pick it up. The girl at the front looked at me dumbfounded. Literally talked to her 15 minutes beforehand and she had no clue. After another 15 minutes she told me she didn't know what happened. I had to re-order and wait another 15 minutes. No apology. Ridiculous and probably the last straw. Be careful if you order take out.
