good neighborhood bar This bar is cool. its inthe middle of downtown. and its one of those bars that everyone is a regular.
fun and laid back! The Golden Bear is a good time. It pretty much is like a house party on K St. Walking in brought me back to times when I'd walk into houses where all the furniture was put into the garage so there would be enough "dancing" space. Its really small inside, like a living room, and has one long bar to the right. I especially like the patio, but it can be hard to find a table for more than 2 cause it also is pretty small. Golden Bear is so so. Good drinks for your average bar price. Wish it was a little bigger inside, but they offer both a front and back patio that have plenty of room. The atmosphere is ok. I generally like my downtown bars a little gritty, and they have a preppy atmosphere.
