It was my husbands first experience at the golden basket today and we had a great breakfast. As we were leaving to pay our bill, Gus ( I am assuming an owner) asked how everything was and offered us a quart of soup to go home with. We learned that his son and my husband share the same name ( Niko) what an awesome random act of kindness. He can't wait to come back next time due to the warm fuzzies we received :) thanks golden basket!
Always go on the weekends for breakfast. Have going there for 22 years. Excellent food 🥘 n service
You get your moneys worth. Tom's dad likes going here and that's about the only thing I do right in this old man's eyes is take him here for a meal. So It is the only time I have him in the car going to and leaving that he is happy with me. So if you have a crabby old in-law take them here. You will finally do something right.
I forgot it was Christmas morning so i went out clearing snow and quickly realized nothing was open. They were, food was awesome, service was awesome, price was awesome.
The service is always friendly, chicken dumpling soup is wonderful.
Fried chicken was really excellent. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean and very modern. Had a nice Facelift since I had been there many years ago.
Gus and his staff are awesome and really care about their customers. Their chicken dumpling soup is awesome, and their reuben is so good. Their broasted chicken is delicious. Reasonable prices and very comfy seating, too. :))))
