I lived in Golden Acres Migrant Farm Camp in 1982-83 or thereabouts. Back in the day it was a free zone. (Like the Cops left people alone). People were loyal to their neighbors and management was great and if someone couldn’t work people helped people to provide food (till the tomatoes came in) and pay income based rent for a work trade. The property was always clean and maintained as were the residents. It’s great that the same spirit is continuing and in this spirit is real prosperity.
