Gold Star Alaska is owned by Cory Armstrong of ACI boats in Port Townsend, Washington. My experience with both companies has been nothing but a nightmare. There is a laundry list of unfinished work on my boat and warranty claims that have not been completed correctly. Brian Baker has made multiple trips to try and fix issues with the boat however they are still unresolved. The flooring as soon as you enter the main cabin is heaving and coming up. My wife and I took our boat to Gold Star Alaska this last summer (2020) to have a new chart-plotter / transducer installed and then to have a starter replaced. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and their service was fast. Working with them was easy and our boat is humming along great. I would definitely recommend working with them and I'll for sure take our boat there again if and when we need something done.
