Update: spoke w Laura, the billing director, she was awesome and told me that they do give 20% off for paying in full... She automatically gave me the customary (20% off) discount. The owner should be ashamed of himself, for ball busting... **************** The owner of Goldstar is extremely greedy and a ball buster!!! $1,238 for 24 mile ride to the Hospital!?? The owner of Goldstar is extremely greedy!!! $1,238 for 24 mile ride to the Hospital!?? I have 2 jobs and still I'm on (qualify for) indigent care. I first spoke w/ Katelynn, who was very courteous and professional, to see if they could give a senior citizen discount... No, but she had mentioned that if I paid the bill in full she could probably get me 15% off....i called Katelyn a week later after I figured things out; I asked her if it was possible to get 20% off if I paid it in full... she said she would call me back... My family and I would like to THANK MR. BRUMBY AND MR JOSH, Today my mom had an appt at Tift Reg Hosp for Mri, The first transport broke down, The nursing home called Gold Star, they were prompt and so very, very kind to my mother and I, SHE had to go by stretcher and these gentlemen 😇 angels went above and beyond duty. We were treated like family and cared for professionally, and made to feel comfortable and safe. I introduced them to our administrator and recommend a medal for them for EXCELLENT SERVICE.
