At the outset, Stace is capable if doing excellent work, but his integrity and business practices are unacceptable - a very small job fixing two tiles that had popped up - he insisted on $600 cash up front to purchase materials?? - about 6 hours later (1 hour of which was spent at Bunnings) another $1400 cash with the ‘generous’ offer that he would not charge GST??? a total of $2000 or about $300 per hour - we had to withhold payment to get an invoice.
