Meh. Food was ok, but nothing special. Rather plain. My salisbury steak was average. My wife's chicken fried steak was a little chewy. Pretty limited selection of sides. Prices were reasonable. Service was ok, but again, nothing spectacular. Server never came by to offer drink refills. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to try them again.
Yummy food! We've been past this place a number of times but never stopped in. First impressions. This place is much larger than expected inside. Cool. We loved the retro vibe. Had the Old Fashioned which was so-so, but let's face facts...it's a diner, so all good. We sampled a little bit of everything, and overall, this was a positive experience. Took us too long to give it a shot! My mom used to drag me in to this property when I was a child of the '80's...when it used to be Gold's Department Store, so there is some sentiment in this review. Gotta say, this place didn't disappoint! Very well done diner vibe. Food was off the hook good! Prices are excellent and service excelled. We'll be back...loved it!
Perfect breakfast/lunch diner experience. Exactly how it should be. We showed up between breakfast and lunch and watched the place full up really fast for lunch on a Monday.
