I recently moved from SFO to Florida and unfortunately we chose Golans as our moving company and it was the worst most expensive experience of my life. Here is what happened -We got our quote from a very untrustworthy sales guy who gave us the lowest price possible and assure us over and over we DIDN’T need to pay any extra. -We ended up paying more then 3K extra!!! -Our things were set to arrive at a specific date and they weren’t! If I could give no stars, I would. Don't use these folks. Everything went poorly from start to finish. They called to say they would be early, then they were not. Ripped two couches, broke a part of a desk, lost legs to a chair. Sent the wrong size truck, even though I moved with them a few years prior with a bigger truck. Sent an 18 year old mover who was nice, but of little use in the move. Stole my new bundle of toilet paper. Ripped off the gutter of a neighbor's garage with their truck and never followed up with them.

Ms. B******* moved on 7/31/2017 and immediately reported her concerns. We diligently followed up with her to apologize for any trouble or inconvenience and within one week of her move we offered her a credit back in the amount of $175.00 to which she never responded. Regarding the reported damage to a neighbors garage gutter; Ms. B******* has yet to provide us with a contact name or address of the property location which we have requested numerous times.
My experience with Golan's began wonderfully and took a hard turn South as soon as they picked up my stuff. My family has relocated from Northern California to Central Texas. I looked into several moving companies and finally selected Golan's based on a wonderful experience I had dealing with Joe ***** over the telephone. He was professional and courteous and made me feel as though I could trust his company to be forthright with communication and take expert care of my household items. We used Golan for a long distance move. I would not recommend. When we called, no one was ever willing to ever tell us were our boxes were. The specialists never called back when they said they would. We were never able to get a hold of the correct person and talked down to for asking simple questions and verifying information. Was hung up on twice for simply asking to verify my address and for information on the move. Ms. ****** didn't have a voice mail set up so our coordinator reached out directly to her husband Kyle and maintained constant contact with him throughout. We utilized Golan Moving for a move and had a very bad experience. We informed the company about the size of our move and they sent out trucks that were too small. The foreman called for bigger trucks when they got to our house but the company would not send anything bigger. This resulted in items being damaged, hours being spent trying to fit things into too small of a truck and ultimately the crew had to leave a lot of stuff behind.
