I scheduled to have a chimney sweep come out. They said they would call before they came and hopefully it would be around 9:30. I had not heard from them by 10:30 so i called. I was then informed he couldnt do it while it was wet since it had rained that morning. I was told i would recieve a call later if he could come. I never got a call. I wasted a whole day off work waiting for them to show up or contact me. Overall just a poor customer experience.
Always gracious and they have a wonderful selection.
Technically very good, but customer service needs serious improvement. Phone calls not returned, explanations unclear. Long, slow process getting the chimney (5 weeks). Staff got snarky and impolite when asked for an update. We used Quick Fit stone. The corners are terrible. Every one had to be worked and trimmed in order to fit. We did the stone work ourselves and built our own chimney chase.
Wanted a wood burning fireplace. Was told there was NO WAY to get that in our house. Was sold a tiny gas insert. They did do a wonderful job on the mantle and faux rock... but... after completing the job, we were told we had to have an electrician come in and put an outlet in for the blower to work! WHY WOULDN'T YOU TELL US THAT FROM the get go???? Now we have to run an extension cord from the fireplace to the wall outlet!!! Crazy!
Very disappointed with their lack of help and customer service after spending thousand on a fireplace that didn’t work. Told not their job to insure the fireplace actually works after installing it. After help from the manufacturer our electrician went thru everything to finally find a pinched wire in the firebox wall that was done during manufacturing, causing it to short out. After voiding our warranty cause they say we were burning to wet of wood and our electrician wired wrong. They tell us, well glad it works now. Just ... read more
