Very upsetting experience the food was awful and the one waitress was extremely humiliating to my family for our beliefs and views .. people can respect each other regardless of belief and this wasn't what happened yest. We will definitely not be back!
Well worth the trip when I have to drive to Salisbury, N.C., I make the extra 25+ minutes drive to Lexington...not for the BBQ anymore, but for my Trip Back in Time. You can get good BBQ all over now, so the Real treat is Godfather's Pizza. Poor ol' Charlotte, N.C. lost alot of Good places and this was one of them. What it lost in good it made up for in growth, but I still admit you must drive out of town to reap the old culture.
My husband and I were camping nearby and decided to have pizza for lunch...evidently we beat the crowd as we were the only ones in the restaurant. The food and service was outstanding! Everything on the salad bar was fresh and it was one of the best salads I've ever had. Good selection of pizza and pasta on the buffet as well. Right before we were leaving the desserts were ready. Oh.my.goodness!!!! Delicious! Once again I'd like to express how nice the staff was. We are looking forward to going back again soon!
This was my first time at godfathers pizza and I absolutely loved it! Will be back very soon !
