The prices displayed do not reflect what is actually charged on-site. My initial rate was $150, but when I arrived at the counter, the total rose to over $450 due to added fees for insurance and the SunPass.There is a complete lack of transparency, with pricing deliberately hidden until the final step. SCAM. I booked a rent-a-wreck through Expedia. Purchased the insurance sold with it online. The ONLY insurance option available when booking. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was told the insurace through Expedia would not be honored. I had to buy THEIR insurance on the spot to pick up the car which was an additional $300 for my 4 day reservation. I also had valid personal insurance and the car rental insurance that comes with my credit card. So 3 forms of insurance total all of which cover the legal limits in Florida. N... read more
