Ordered an enchilada with red sauce and got something else that definitely was not an enchilada. I don’t even know what it was. Service was ok. Folks are super nice. Food was honestly disgusting. Absolutely no flavor besides the beans and rice that were just straight baby food mush. The chicken was dryer than the desert and had no flavor whatsoever. Probably won’t be going back.
Pretty great food made by friendly owners that seem proud to do it. Their churros are especially good, handmade right there I believe. I only wish there was a way to crank up the heat with something truly spicy, sometimes I want my food to fight back, you know? I think good start would be a green chili burrito or a green chili sauce if they got ahold of some hatch chili's and made it in-house. I used to eat here almost every Saturday when I was a student at DSU. It was my favorite restaurant in Madison. I’ve never tried anything except chicken burrito here but that burrito was really good. The burrito is pretty big and with chips it’s enough to get full for one person. It tastes fresh and delicious. The mild salsa is amazing. Thanks to the owner and all the staff!
