While renovating my older home, I needed to update the termite bonds in order to receive my certificate of occupancy. I explained this situation clearly to the salesperson, Brian, and that the termite bonds were simply something I needed installed in order to meet the requirement. At the same time, my crawlspace was being fully encapsulated, so I knew I would not need ongoing pest service.
