Be prepared for GNP to cheap out on as much as possible. Be prepared for Albert, the contactor, to avoid your phone calls and emails. Be prepared for contractually obligated punch list items to never be fixed. Be prepared to see leaks and cracks within the first year. Be prepared to be disappointed.

I've lived in Ukrainian Village for almost a decade now and moved into a new home beginning of 2020. It was a brand new construction from GNP Development off of Wood St. I loved the finishes and style of the home just as much as I loved the location. The pandemic hit and I was stuck at home, just like the rest of the world. I couldn't have been happier to be living in my new home, zero issues over these last two years! Buyer beware if you're planning on buying a new-build from GNP. They will cheap out on every finish. The building will settle like crazy over the first year. They will be very slow to address warranty claims (if they don't ignore altogether). The craftsmanship is generally pretty terrible - paint drips everywhere, sloppy tile jobs, cut corners, bad caulking, the lowest grade off-the-shelf light fixtures, switches, cabinet pulls, etc. It is mindblowing how much money needs to be put in to a never-lived-in, brand new unit buil... read more
