The southern grits bowl was fantastic, such a treat for a vegetarian that never gets to have such a savory taste sensation at other restaurants in the low country.
Loved the entire experience! Great coffee, relaxing atmosphere, serene decor, great choice of tunes, annnnnnd amazing food! Highly recommend the grit bowl!
Gnome Cafe is a recent discovery for us at Canvas. We've ordered lunch from Gnome twice this week. The decision is unanimous. WE ARE OBSESSED! Online ordering is simple, delivery is prompt, and the food is OUTRAGEOUS! Five Stars for Gnome!

I moved to Charleston a few months ago, and while Charleston has a lot of vegan/veggie options, I was homesick for some yummy vegan "junk" food. The fried chick'n seitan sandwich is out of this world. There's a lot of healthy options, too!
I went to lunch today. Had the taco salad which was delish! The almond butter Rosemary cookies were yum! Sarah the owner went out of the way to make everyone happy on a very busy day. Will go back!
