We liked the food as well as the service. Heard about the place from the two people that gave us a tour of Georgia Southern!
Gnats is always great! Just went this past weekend, and although it was busy, our server was the best! #HailSouthern
The food and service were excellent. Prices were reasonable. I was pleased there were some healthier options, in lieu of typical “bar food”.
Food’s pretty good, but the shrimp and grits never fill up the bowl. I’ve tried shrimp and grits at most other restaurants in statesboro, and they all seem to fill up the bowl, so I know it’s not a local thing. I guess gnats just doesn’t really care about the customer. Also last time I was there, the waiter was too busy standing behind the bar to check on my table.
I was very disappointed to see that my shrimp and grits bowl was not filled to the top like it used to be done.
Their Shrimp and Grits are delicious but they consistently fail to fill up their bowls.
The Shrimp and Grits did NOT adequetely fill up the bowl.
Super bar great people 100% recommend the beer specials.
Food was good. Had crab balls and fried shrimp app. It was trivia night and a lot of fun!
