Very unique. Very unique pizza. Personally I don't care for it, but the locals rave about it. It's not the new york/phila style pizza you're used to on the east coast. It's thick, salty, drenched in oil and kinda fried. Oh, that explains why the locals love it! Haha...
There are much better Italian restuarants in Reading The pizza and clams casino are very good. The specials of the day are usually very good; however, I have yet to find a good light pasta dish. What they call an olive oil, wine sauce is just a large amount of olive oil. Not very appetizing. The latest dish I tried was their Risotto which is not Risotto at all, but boiled rice with again a large amount of olive oil poured over it. Yuck. Must have missed something I am no pizza connesuir, but how can I put this...Yuck! My husband and I stopped here one Saturday afternoon. We waited to be seated, as the sign instructed. When no one showed up, even though we could see employees walking around, we just sat ourselves. After a fair wait, a waitress finally came over and took our order. Italian specialist I live near lewis delaware and will drive 134 miles to eat the best italian sub around. Also their grilled ham and cheese sub is out of this world. Their dinners are very good but always make sure you take a few subs home for the next day. Thats what I do.
good italian food The remodeled restaurant is very nice, especially how the one side is for sandwiches and pizza and the other is for meals. They have really good homemade Italian food, especially the seafood chowder. It's a great family friendly atmosphere. Sandwiches are great and reasonably priced.
